Gutter Cleaning

If you’re lucky, you’ll never have a problem with your guttering. It’ll keep on working, the rainwater will flow cleanly off your roof and down to the drains below and it will continue doing it’s job without any fuss for years on end. (That’s if you’re lucky)

However, based on the number of gutters we’ve been called out to deal with over the years there’s a good chance that at some point they will block up or start leaking and this of course usually only happens when it’s pouring with rain of when there’s been a really heavy storm with gale force winds.

At that point you’ve got a problem.

Plant life, stagnant water, moss and lichen. You name it, it can end up in there and at some point it has to be gotten out or the problems are going to multiply. Sometimes, the gutters can be heavily blocked but you don’t notice it. That’s because the rainwater is being funnelled inside your house. That’s when you start smelling mould and see damp patches appearing in the corner of your bedroom walls.
